23rd April is Children's Day in Turkey which luckily falls on a Sunday this year, so a nice early start to be at school by 8 O' Clock. Cem and Emine march through the streets with their respective classmates. This year the ceremony is held in the harbour rather than the town square. A definite sign than Kas is growing, the town square being no longer big enough to accommodate the event! The children are both fortunate enough to have been picked amongst the representatives of their classes to do a performance. So in between readings and gymnastic displays they take their turns to perform a dance.
