In Antalya..

..with the Serins. We left Kas on Thursday morning (after the dentist's) to sort out work visas and look at materials for the interior of the house. Things seemed to go smoothly at the Foreigners Branch of the Provincial Police so we went to the shopping centre before going onto Tevfik-and- Sarah's. But, of course, bureaucracy in Turkey has never been easy and seems to get worse as laws change on a daily basis. So on Friday morning we get a call saying we are a paper short required to get our business visas and residency updated. We spend half-the-day trying to source a copy but run out of time so I'll have to go again next week. In between we looked at stones, tiles etc and made some progress. It's looking like Ida stone in various finishes for most of the downstairs and terrace, and a grey tile for the bathroom...We left the Serins watching a film on Saturday morning.
