School News

They have started re-building the Kaş school. Here are some pıcs from mid-March when they had cleared the site. Alison, now a member of the fund-raising PTA, tells me it will be finished by September. In the meantime, with the clocks going forward, they have moved school hours on a bit. The children catch the bus at 06.50 from now until the end of term in mid-June. After a winter of getting them out by 6.20 it feels like a lie-in.
I was up near the school because we've got a buyer for the Old Flat. We've signed contracts and have a deposit, the owner-apparent seems very nice.

The other pic is of Emine singing at school. She's joined the choir.

In other news March was mostly wet and windy. Glad to see the back of it. And we have a new woman-what-does downstairs. Kadriye is an ethnic Turk from Bulgaria.
