3rd Annual Meis (Megisti) to Kas Race

The 3rd Annual Meis (Megisti) to Kas Swimming and Kayaking Race took place this morning. The Kayak winners were Barbaros and Dean (who are both previous winners and have previously worked for us) in a time of 55 minutes and second was the current staff team of Ali and Dincer. The fastest swimmer was a 14 YEAR OLD BOY called Yunus (which means, literally, dolphin) who did it in a record-breaking 1 hour 52 minutes and was a long way ahead of the rest of the field. Ufuk, my partner in the business, was race organiser. Our friend Steve came in at the tail end only 18 months after his angioplasty Jane Baz, the British Vice-Consul of Antalya was one of the medal givers along with various dignitaries from both side of the water.
