Sorry but it's been a while since we posted. My Mum and Ellen left a week last Friday and Alison's parents arrived the same day. The "missing lady" for whom we had been searching since the previous Monday turned up, alive, on the previous Wednesday after 2 nights in the wild and was eventually repatriated on the following Tuesday. In the meantime we were burgled last Sunday morning, whilst we were all in the house. We think Tia, the fearless guard dog (pictured below, must have disturbed them as they only got Alison's handbag. She started barking at 0530 and we think that was tyhe cue for the robber(s) to scarper. That Sunday was also Mother's Day here. We had 5uniforms and 3 detectives in the house from 0630 to 0800 and helped fill out 5 reports. The good news is that the bag and some of its contents turned up yesterday, discarded further down the peninsula, and that Alison is going to re-claim it as I write...
