We are experiencing, in terms of weather, the worst October in 22 years. Yesterday there was a storm that lasted 15 hours. The rainbow clearly ends at a house in Çerçiler so we'll go up to collect the crock of gold when the rain stops. Gordon's funeral yesterday went well with hundreds of people braving the monsoon-like conditions to go up to the cemetery.

My mum's here so we went to inspect the building site. She's not seen it since July.
