We were very sorry to hear of the death of Gordon this morning. Here's a picture of us with Marion and him from a few years ago, discussing philosophy or books over a drink which is how we shall remember him.
Later we had school meetings. Alison attended Jem's class. We were happily surprised to hear that he was doing rather well, amongst the best in his class in fact, as we had assumed he didn't pay much attention. I attended Emine's Class Meeting; she is also doing well. The pics are of the headmaster addressing us all. And the rather good view from her classroom window. Her class (4C) have the highest floor room right in the centre of the school and are also very lucky that they have the classroom to themselves, i.e there is no morning Çerçiler School Class in this room.
