Crab Hunting

Caroline and Gerry came to visit the house where work is going well. The stone-cladding is coming on plus another team are concreting the floors of the bedrooms.
Then we all went onto Kaş Camping (where Caroline worked when she first came to Kaş 15 years ago) for a swim and, in the case of Em and Jem, to hunt crabs with string and salami.
Here are 2 old postcards of Kaş that Arzu (of our staff) unearthed recently; the one dated 1331 (Islamic Calendar) is from 1913. The Church has a bell tower so was probably still be used as such because the village would have been predominantly Greek. It wasn't converted into a mosque until after the population exchanges of the late 1920s. The other must be 30 or 40 years later.
