Bad news is that council are being very strict on building regulations and we've still got some "heavy" work to do, which is not allowed since May15th. Good news is that they have started on the big double arch between the dining room and courtyard, which we think is going to look rather good. The concrete for the inner arch was poured this morning into the moulds built by the chaps here. If we can sneak it past the inspectors the concrete for the outer arch will be done this afternoon. The french windows will sit to the inside of the concrete and can be fully open in the middle section (where the chaps are).
Other good news is that the stone-facing of the road sise is finished. That means the building inspectors are less likely to notice us! All that's left is the lounge/master bedroom.
Plus the steps have been changed!
