Friday Morning..

... is usually the quietest time on site as the workers get the morning off. So we were surprised to here a jack-hammer as we approached. A contractor was creating a new door into the side of the basement, and the steel for the new pool machine room was in. In the basement all the rooms have been divided up. The big surprise was to see the team in their "Friday" best, preparing together a meal of spicy kebabs to be barbecued in the garden. Some of them would be going into town later for Midday Prayers. But for now everyone seemed very happy to spend what little time off they had at their place of work sharing a meal. Of course they invited us to join them for their home-style kebabs and, of course, we declined. It didn't seem fair to intrude when they probably just wanted to talk about their homes and families.
