Here we are waiting for the second delivery on concrete to construct the basement walls. There is narrow section below Hasan G., Alison and Colin that will make an 18 tonne water depot. The ladder leans against it. When the concrete sets the wood will go and we are ready for the concrete to construct the pool. Hasan G. tells us the total build will need approximately 400m3 of concrete, between 35 & 40 truckloads. Hasan G. and Nazim had assumed that we would want an infinity-edge pool but we can't see the point as the view is not uninterrupted and there are safety issues for small children. Therefore the "rock" that was going to be a feature needs to go as we would rather be able to walk all the way round the pool. The tak-tak machine also needs to deepen the pool from the standard 1.8m to 2.0m as Alison wants to be able to dive. The diagonal corner on the concrete base will be the entrance to the basement bedroom (with a circular terrace extending out from there) so that room will have a great view.
